Convention materials

Come back soon for the Convention Book, including resolutions, reports and more.

Accessibility

As an organization that values inclusion and the full participation of all delegates, we’ll make every effort to accommodate accessibility requirements for delegates during the scheduled on-site convention activities. That includes providing real-time closed-captioning and ASL interpretation during convention events.

If any of your delegates require additional accessibility accommodations, please complete the accessibility section on the convention registration page. Please submit your request by November 4, 2022, as we cannot guarantee that we can meet your request after that date.

Childminding

Childminding for children aged 2-12 will be available for convention events. If you require childminding services, please complete this form as soon as possible to assist us in making appropriate arrangements for your children. We may not be able to accommodate childminding requests received after November 4, 2022.

Info booths

Our always-popular information fair is back! If you would like to request a booth at convention this year, please email convention2022@bcfed.ca and we can send you the application form. Deadline for forms is September 30.

Every BCFED convention, the Joy Langan Social Justice Award is presented to a woman who is a trade union activist and leader in her union and community. For more information on the award or to nominate someone, please see here. The deadline for nominations is October 14.
